Amazing Strides was founded in 2018 by Dominique Anderson to bridge gaps in care, advocacy, housing, and access to community-based services for individuals and families throughout New Jersey. What began as a boutique Support Coordination Agency has evolved into a multi-service organization providing both Support Coordination Services through the New Jersey Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD) and Housing Supports Services through the NJ FamilyCare Housing Supports Program (HSP).

Today, Amazing Strides empowers individuals and families to navigate complex service systems, access critical resources, secure stable housing, and achieve greater independence, health, and community inclusion. Our team works collaboratively with individuals, families, healthcare providers, managed care organizations, landlords, and community partners to develop personalized plans that support long-term success and stability.

Through our Support Coordination program, we assist adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in identifying goals, coordinating services, and maximizing their DDD-funded supports. Through our Housing Supports program, we help eligible Medicaid members obtain and maintain safe, affordable housing through pre-tenancy and tenancy-sustaining services designed to promote housing stability and improve overall well-being.

Our leadership and service teams bring more than 30 years of combined experience in disability services, care coordination, housing navigation, and community advocacy. Team members complete extensive state-required training and participate in ongoing professional development through the New Jersey Division of Developmental Disabilities, Medicaid Housing Supports initiatives, and The Boggs Center on Developmental Disabilities at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School to ensure the highest quality of person-centered support.
